Book Vouchers and not buying any books

As I mentioned in my last post last weekend held a family party, and we managed to catch up with people we hadn’t seen for a while. It was great to catch up with people but we also received incredibly late Christmas presents – a Dairy Milk and a Book Voucher each.

The question is how do Book Vouchers fit into our No Book Buying Challenge? We have had discussions about this. I was all for making sure the book we bought was under £10 – the value of the vouchers. The husband however wanted to be allowed to top it up as books are expensive. Especially the types that he buys. He likes buying text books. For fun! This is a sickness!

However, we compromised. It has been decided that we are allowed to top up the vouchers, but only up to a limit of £5 extra. No more! Lost Astronomer remember this!
